New Season

Started to play basketball again this summer because it seemed like everybody at church started to play. After two years of not playing competitive sports, I guess I couldn't stay away from sports much longer so I just started playing for fun. At the sports tournament, I really wanted to play and it felt weird just sitting on the side cheering instead of playing. After we took first place I told myself that I definitely wanted to play next year.
As I started playing more, I came across this jump program called the jump manual. So for the past 2 weeks, I've been trying out this program because I really wanted to dunk and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I made a bet with Jonathan that if I couldn't dunk by the end of 3 months than I owe him Asahi. As I started this training regiment, I started to actually enjoy and reap the benefits of my hard work after the first two weeks and I actually could see progress in my body. I felt great! Now my goal is not only to dunk but to try to get into the best shape possible.
I will be tracking my progress using this blog, even though I hate doing stuff like this, it will be cool to see how each day goes by. I'm taking the 3rd week off and just recovering because it is finals week for summer school so my jump manual training will begin again next Wednesday.
